Good morning, everyone! Hopefully you're well-rested, because there's a long day ahead of you.

The start of the day is yours to do with what you want, but come 11:45 AM, your daemons will feel a compulsion to lead you to chapel and will ensure that you're up and moving to head there. You can certainly resist it, but by the time 11:55 AM rolls around... you'll find your feet taking you there, regardless, if you aren't there already. There's no exceptions—it seems that this gathering is mandatory, as you'll find that your fellow travelers are all heading to the same destination as you.

Waiting in the chapel for your arrival are Satariel, Rameel, and Yomiel. Tables for offerings sit at the front end of the room. They've been left empty for the day ahead - save for one, where plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery have been stacked neatly for later in the day. Some snacks and drinks have been provided for the early portion of the day, and proper food for later. Come noon, once everyone is within the chapel, they'll find that the doors close and lock behind them.

Sporting a bit of a different look with their long blonde locks gone, Rameel will be leaning against the podium upfront with a lazy smile on their face. Their wounds and injuries from yesterday seemingly healed up completely sans one more permanent injury. And even though it looks as if they were going to say something, they ultimately don't and pass their turn.

Yomiel looks much better than yesterday, wounds healed, broken wings set, and clothing repaired. Speaking too much seems to be a bit of a strain, though, as their voice is still scratchy and rough. "You've don't have much time to find Mikotoba. Don't waste it."

Satariel is curled up in one of the pews, wrapped in their cloak and a blanket and looking tired. But they are paying attention, and their daemon paces slowly nearby as a bear, snuffling at anyone that comes close enough as though checking them over as well. It still does not touch. The Watcher sounds - quiet, for once. "Let's get started. And, while it won't matter to the trial... for your numbers, Miss Rika was a Celestial."

Every hour that passes, the chapel bell will ring out with the time. The pressure's on, good luck.

Trial start

Business stops for no one! Welcome, everyone, to our sixth trial. For the next nine hours, characters are expected to investigate the setting, compile and examine evidence, locate any unalive and unaccounted for members of their group, and theorize about the going ons of Thursday night/Friday morning that lead up to this point.

Mod breaks will run a little differently than they have in past games. There will be a three hour block starting at 4 PM EST/1 PM PST and ending at 7 PM EST/4 PM PST, where we'll be cycling one mod out at a time to take an hour long break while the other two remain to keep tags going and answer any questions players might have. We encourage players to take a break at any point during this timeframe, but the player-designated break will be at the traditional 5 - 6 PM EST time! Reference our timezones if need be.

Voting is mandatory in Chasma, acting as our activity check for the week. Please ensure that you've submitted your vote before 9:05 PM EST/6:05 PM PST, unless you've spoken with the mods previously, as we'll begin tallying votes on the dot.

[ you ever hear an arctic fox howl? now you have. Jin does it a few times ever louder and louder to get the attention coming in. ]

Just as it happens in the previous weeks, we'll need to check one another for injuries.

If you have someone to account for them make sure to let us know right away and have them confirm so we aren't wasting that much time.

It'll be a little messy this time around with this week's effects so be sure to refer to which one is your phantom injury and unfortunately expect to have it confirmed through touch. [ Maybe a look of sympathy here.] We need to be thorough here.

I'll run by the men and someone else will be helping with the rest, and of course have someone be sure to check our own injuries as well. Let's try and do this efficiently and quickly.

[ Can't really say painlessly here huh. But with that! Here we go! And thanks to our unpopular demand Rameel, there will be electric blankets, heating pads to stand on and hand warmers to keep you cozy during the checks. ]

that being said. sche has a long gash starting at her right elbow, going straight up to her shoulder, right by her neck. one of her nails is broken.

as with previous weeks, she'll only undress for another lady with some privacy. ]

there's a bleeding wound on his lower back, but it matches with the one he got when coming back from the cyoa a few weeks ago.

other than that he just has a tattoo that says "i did it" on his lower back like a tra-- no. he's just got that old-new-old wound mentioned above. ]

He has all of his old scars, specifically the huge bite scar on his left side. His left arm is slightly bleeding through the bandages that have been provided.

Other than that, he's fine.]

- chest has a massive injury on it - bruised and burnt(?) looking.
- there are also gashes across his chest from claws
- trident scars on his stomach from w1 execution

- there's a bit of scarring on his left leg, but he has leg, so that's good news

- there's bruising on his neck and shoulder area

[he doesn't remove his gauze eyepatch, but it's no secret that underneath is his wound, as it's beginning to bleed through the gauze after all these hours since his last change.

after he takes off his clothes, he still has bandages to undo around his torso and arms. once those are off, he has an assortment of bruises and light cuts.]

[ doot doot strip check time, kaeya is brisk about it in the cold. brr.

this week is pretty tame, just like last week. he has a lot of very old scars, and the burn scars going up his right arm to his shoulder/neck in patchy areas. the one large weeping wound today is on his shoulder and it smell a little burnt. it weeps underneath the bandages around the area, but kaeya doesn't object to having it poked, just warns for it if you ask to test it.

nails are clean, so are his hands and boots, there might be a fleck or two of glitter, but he hangs out a lot with xie lian and went on an invest with him today. ]

[ here's xie lian! he will strip down out of his clothes even if it is chilly with no fuss. as usual, it takes him a moment to unwind the bandages around his neck, but he seems less unwilling than in the past. character growth!

his injury of the week effect tm is a stab wound in his chest, right where he has a scar. it leaks blood down his torso while it's unbandaged.

he has no other injuries! nothing else of note, except as usual he has this black mark tattooed around his neck. and also glitter! i forgot about that.

also he's jacked. we've been over this its week 5. that's it! ]

[ Akira's got bandages on his face like he has the whole week, and bruises along his ribs. They look pretty gnarly. ]

Gonna suck if you touch these, so take a breath before.

He's still got a scar where he was gutted with a sword, not to mention his leg, but Kim's familiar with all that. Other than that, nothing new.]

She'll have bandages wrapped around her neck that show indications of a wound currently bleeding excessively. Her hands are clean and so are her nails! No signs of glitter or dust. ]

[Kim removes his jacket to show his harness with a holstered gun. Specks of hateful glitter fall out when he removes it. For most people, he'll just remove his turtleneck and gloves and reveal:

- no injuries!
- ...because the only injuries are already on his face, in plain sight: a bunch of bruises.

If asked to strip all the way, he'll comply, but there's nothing else to see.]

[It takes a little work for her to strip down completely, considering her injuries from last week are still a thing, but her clothes will be neatly folded to the side after she's done stripping down to her underwear. The I L*VE NERAK eyepatch stays.

She has some light bandaging around her shoulder and her severed fingers. The flash burns and scrapes from last week are still present to some degree, though they have begun to heal since then. The large bruise on her back is a nasty yellow color, fading away. Meanwhile, the burn on her leg has been left unbandaged to breathe. Like the other injuries, it has healed over time.

Her right hand is missing the most of pinky and ring fingers, severed around the middle knuckle. There is a continuously bleeding cut on her arm, just dripping blood everywhere. Gross.]

there's several old scars and burns, that have been seen in past checks, cyoa related ones included (eyebrow scars and one on his upper right arm). and today's injury flavor is a giant cut down his back that has stained through the bandages. you may touch, but it won't be very fun for either party!

also no glitter and his nails are neat. ]

[ Thanks to injury week, Alphinaud does indeed have injuries this time...

He has various bruises all over, previously hidden by his clothing, but his hands look scratched up with a few deeper cuts, and a few cuts along the side of his face as well. ]

... Touching these should not hurt as deeply as certain injuries others have, at least.

He has several extra layers on right now because it's heckin' cold, but he'll strip those off for the sake of strip check.

Currently he has a rather nasty cut on his right leg, just above his ankle. It looks like it got sliced clean through by a sword at some point, but given the copious amount of bleeding and how Rin is still walking on it, it's obvious that this is his weekly effect injury.

Other than that, his extremities look a little red and angy from the constant cold. And the fur on his tail looks nicely brushed and not all messy like it's been in the past.]

[Well, HAVE FUN WITH THIS, whoever's checking Alisaie is going to notice right away the sheer amount of blood coming from her left side. There's a lot of it, even if it is just a slow ooze; haha it's fine.

Aside from that, she's looking pretty good! Nothing worth reporting here. Nails are clean (and probably painted, thx Spike), and there's no glitter on her anywhere.]

- the number 6424 is "stitched" into his left forearm
- a scar on the palm of his right hand that is a couple of weeks old.
- a week old scars on his right bicep, left cheek (FACE), and right thigh.
- large bruising on the front of his chest, is healing.
- light cuts patterning his hands and arms, are healing.
- the only thing bleeding is an apparent abdomen wound that though it is thoroughly wrapped around with bandages it's beginning to bleed through a little. ]
