Waking up this morning will reveal some unfamiliar surroundings. The soft ripples of the canals and dulcet tones of otamatone fade from your ears, replaced by a steady, dry breeze and the ambient noise of the local populace filtering in through open windows. Another thing you'll notice is that it's warm - very warm. Light dress is recommended here.
You all awaken in your beds—although they aren't the beds that you found yourself falling asleep in previously, and you might not even see the same face as you had the previous night. But one by one, as you filter out, you find yourselves in a house, a bit on the older side but still comfortable. The decor is neutral and inoffensive, much like you'd expect of a place that sees many visitors.
Unlike the previous worlds you've visited, Ahnkeen is a bustling, busy place, full of people of all sorts - and not all are human, so please check your biases at the door. Though the world around them is dry and scarce of resources, the market town itself is alive and well, business booming, and the merchants here keep a close eye on their wares in case of any thieves.
Traversing down the streets of the housing district are the Temporals. For the most part they seem ready to receive everyone. Throwing their hands into the air and meandering down Rameel will be spearhead the introductions this time—their puma daemon trailing behind them. As an extra treat, they'll even seem to have their “black box” from previous with them this fine morning on full blast.
"Hello, hello everyone! WELCOME TO AHNKEEN!! The home to the great markets...probably. I hope more of you are used to these scenery changes by now, and by popular demand are your favorite Temporals. We've changed the set for the hat trick, but we won't stop there."
Satariel is standing close to Yomiel, their undercloak absent and their daemon raven-formed on their shoulder - it squawks after Rameel yells the welcome, but they offer everyone a warm smile. They do reach over to... turn down the "black box" of Rameel's, without looking, smile still intact. "For those of you that kept your things from previous worlds, especially the treasure from our adventures underwater, you might find that they come in handy here. We are in a market, after all."
The last Watcher has also shed their undercloak, staring at Rameel while their polecat daemon chitters. "Anyway," they turn to the rest with a vague gesture at Satariel. "Try not to steal too much this time. The last few worlds were pretty quiet, but you might run into trouble with the locals here if you keep that up."
With the new week, travelers will find that they are no longer connected physically and emotionally to another participant. As opposed to being drawn to one person in particular, they'll find themselves with the need to be physically close to any other participant they speak to. Go on, hold their hand, get your snuggle on - it'll make you feel better. This effect lasts all week.

Sounds like an interesting challenge. Everything's got to be frog sizes, so we're gonna need to be creative. [ as his feet pravda, in her lioness form today, stalks around the nearby stalls, sniffing at what's on their surfaces and bearing no mind to the concerned looks she's getting. ]

pravda wiggles off yuri's shoulders and scuttles across the ground, dipping in and out of the poor, confused potter's wares, looking for something -- anything -- appropriate for King Greg. out of the corner of her eye, she spots something shiny at the next stall over, where the owner seems enraptured and delighted by this apparently downfall of their stall neighbour, and scuttles at it. yuri on the other hand leans over and whispers to some of the nearby crowd: ]
Can you believe it? Drugs, here? In this market?
[ seeing as akira and kaeya have dramatic accusations covered, he might as well focuses on getting a gossip ring going, and draw a crowd to come and see this showdown. more people here? less people milling around the rest of the market, right? ]

the other members of the market are all starting to crowd and shake their heads, and whisper to each other as well (“can you believe it?” “i don’t know, he always seemed a little odd to me?”. rude, honestly.)
in the background of all this, pravda wriggles onto a temporarily abandoned stall and noses around. there are lots of trinkets and oddities, bits and bobs, like the owner has been hosting a bric-a-brac sale here. she sniffs at a couple of gaudily oversized rings, and a long trail of fake pearls that would be far too long to go around little greg’s neck; before zeroing in on a gold coloured bracelet with a big red gem in the centre. glancing backwards and forwards, she takes it carefully between her teeth and zips down off the table and the stall next to it.

Yeah, yeah. Well it doesn't look like the crowd is on your side either. [ Nagako meanwhile is nosing around near the smaller pots; maybe one of the tinier ones could make for a bathtub for Greg which isn't their mission but you make do with what you have. ]

yuri takes a moment to scoop pravda up and take the bracelet from her when she scampers back to his arms, tucking it into his pocket. so that's... potentially three items out of the five. ]
Ohh. I wonder if this is some sort of secret investigation? [ he leans in and speaks in hushed tones to a woman next to him. ] But do you think they have the right guy? There's that other potter a few stalls down... I hear they don't get on well.
[ hint, hint. the other stall is, conveniently, further along towards a quieter second of the market. maybe they can draw some potentially prying eyes even further away? ]

of course as this is being said he turns and sees akira already headed that way. the two merchants run after to watch the show, parts of the crowd following after. ] What an interesting turn of events.
[ canopus finally chooses the perfect ring-crown for greg! its gold with two white stones and a big ruby in the center, stunning!! she slips it around her lil head and waddles back to find diluc. mission: complete! ]

[ kaeya says this as akira is already off to the next stand. polaris is scampering up in the mass of nosey people aiming to follow the new scene of great scandal, immediately passing off his prize of a handkerchief. it's tucked away quickly into his pocket as he makes to direct a few particularly snoopy people towards where the show has moved. moving the scene in general is smart, especially when they'll want to disappear as quickly as possible, wait out the commotion until things (hopefully) die down.
between the pot, the ring, the bracelet, and the scarf, they're only in need of one last treasure. ]
