Waking up this morning will reveal some unfamiliar surroundings. While Camebit had an autumnal chill in the air, things are a little different, now - the air is frigid, and waking up is an adventure, considering you are swaddled to the nines and cozied right up to your roomie of the week (where you have one, anyways). Everything around you is made of ice and packed snow, fogged glass and porcelain, and it is freezing. Who thought this was a good idea? Even the brisk chill of Camebit in the skies above everything was more forgiving than this! This isn't a transition! Whose manager can you speak to..?

About that.



You have to trek out of the lodging, and over into the building made of actual wood and stone, to actually see your Watchers of the week. They're all dressed in their full cloaks again to combat the chill, even in this building, although both Rameel and Satariel are standing much closer to Yomiel than they usually do - much like they had in Ahnkeen, actually.

"Good morning and welcome to Nerak! If you've ever wondered what it was like to stay at an ice hotel, then you're in luck!" Rameel says with moderate flourish as they make sure to keep close to Yomiel—their daemon currently not found anywhere near them as they make the announcement. Looks like they're without their black box of musical wonders this morning.

While the other two Watchers press close, Yomiel's daemon has wrapped itself around their neck like a polecat scarf. Warm. Arm cradled gently against their chest, they pause to glance at Satariel before greeting everyone. "Try to be careful. The ice can get slippery, especially when you're all looking like that and leaving a mess everywhere you go." Whatever that means.

Satariel seems a little more subdued than usual but offers everyone a smile, daemon bear-shaped against their back, large head peering around at everyone while they take in the travelers that come to join them here in the hotel lobby. Their cloak is completely closed around them - not even the front of their dress can be seen, and they're clearly holding it tightly shut. "Please be nice to the hotel staff - if I catch any of you being rude to them, I'll kick you clear across the tundra before sticking you in their outdoor 'jail' for timeout. We're guests, but they're working hard to accommodate us, alright?"


With the new week, travelers will find that they no longer the adorable animal features they did in Camebit, but something much less cute. Injuries from their pasts have come back to haunt them, major or minor, and they cannot be healed. The good thing is that they don't seem to hurt or really take a toll on the travelers at all - at least, not until they're touched, and then both you the other will feel the pain from the moment the wound was inflicted. This effect lasts all week.

[last to come out is... rochalizo! he checks behind him as he does, as though watching their backs.

he's fine! well, except for the part where his front is covered in blood, drenched into his clothes. prominently amidst all the red, rivulets of the stuff run down his arm, with his hand held in a sling, and blood lightly trickles from his mouth. equally bloody is his sword, held in his good hand. once he confirms that the way is closed, he flicks the blade to try and get some of the blood off.

he glances down at his companions in the snow.]

Really?

[why are you all on the ground to varying degrees of unwillingness!!

anyhow. he looks exhausted but still, he manages to yell out—]

Healer! Now!

[in the meantime he'll crouch down to see if there's like. ANYTHING they can use to stop spike from just bleeding to death before anyone gets here. damn it, all of you.]

[ kaeya is sprinting the fuck up to rochalízo and crouching by spike. he rests his hand on rocha's shoulder and looks him over. ]

What happened? Where's that blood on your mouth coming from?

[ as he's already taking off his jacket to try to staunch spike's bleeding where he can while the healers arrive. ]

[he's so tired and he barely understands what the hell happened to any of them]

[He looks up at Kaeya, and even through the pain, he smiles, soft.]

...Hey, handsome. [He reaches forward, just to be touching Kaeya. He feels tears prick at his eyes. God, he's in so much pain, but he's so relieved.]

Got stabbed in the gut, didn't I?

Well, I didn't... gah!! ...ask to be dropped!

[Just put some pressure on the wound maybe... He turns his head to make sure he still got his lamp... he does. He can die a happy vamp now.]

[ SPIKE? The smell of blood is especially pungent today. She's going to hover over and around Rochalizo and Spike first. ]

Well if you're still yelling, then that must mean you're still healthy!

[ Better than people showing up DEAD EVERY WEEK. ]

[ flat looks frazzled as he tries to run towards him. ]

How many heals do we have left?! I have bandages!

Looks like you got yourself into trouble.

[ he has bandages and some regular healing supplies, need anything wrapping? ]

We got out of it, at least.

[if yuri's looking closely, a lot of the bleeding is coming from a deep gash on his upper arm that's kind of just dangling uselessly, so. maybe. his hand on the same limb, though, isn't bloody as so much as it looks like it's been crushed.]

[Spike is bleeding out on the ground but this ain't about him. Not just kidding she cares about that, too, but she doesn't have any healing magic. She'll pull off her warm coat and shove it into Rochalio's hands if he needs something for the bleeding.]

Other than Mr. Spike, who needs healing the most?

Rochalizo is the worse of us after Spike.

[ Sorry Spike but Zetsu did it for the shenanigans in gc, he glances at Rochalizo and gives a helpless shrug. ]

[ xie lian is RUNNING in general, but seeing rochalizo come out at the end is the scariest - he's upright, at least, and xie lian comes rushing to his side to drop next to spike on one knee, hands already starting to glow a golden color as he gathers his spiritual energy together.]

I'm here. Mr. Spike is the worst off? Don't worry, we'll stabilize you quickly. It's going to be alright. [ and then, fussier - ] Are you alright, Rochalizo?

Spike had the misfortune of being stabbed towards the end, yes. [he winces.] I've been better, but I'm alive.

[H... Hello? She looks particularly horrified by Spike's entire everything.]

... Oh, no. I'll go get a Watcher!

[ well since the temporals are no shows, here's... baraqiel! monika has summoned them, and they land with a crunch of snow, taking stock of who is where and what's going on.

... okay. ]

Celestials are down to two empowered exchanges per Watcher a week.

I can give someone two minor healing spells to at least cover healing Kim Dokja and Scheherazade enough that medical supplies will be sufficient, but I'm going to hold onto my other exchange in case there's more injured tonight or tomorrow. So that's it from me, for now.

[Oh as if she isn't running for Spike the moment they come through that door. She comes to a stop by him, dropping to one knee so that she can talk with him because SHE SURE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE RIGHT NOW.

But they knew this was coming. Alphinaud is here, and so is Xie Lian already summoning up his magic, and between all of them he's going to be okay. It's a certainty, in her mind.
