Waking up this morning will reveal some unfamiliar surroundings. While Camebit had an autumnal chill in the air, things are a little different, now - the air is frigid, and waking up is an adventure, considering you are swaddled to the nines and cozied right up to your roomie of the week (where you have one, anyways). Everything around you is made of ice and packed snow, fogged glass and porcelain, and it is freezing. Who thought this was a good idea? Even the brisk chill of Camebit in the skies above everything was more forgiving than this! This isn't a transition! Whose manager can you speak to..?

About that.



You have to trek out of the lodging, and over into the building made of actual wood and stone, to actually see your Watchers of the week. They're all dressed in their full cloaks again to combat the chill, even in this building, although both Rameel and Satariel are standing much closer to Yomiel than they usually do - much like they had in Ahnkeen, actually.

"Good morning and welcome to Nerak! If you've ever wondered what it was like to stay at an ice hotel, then you're in luck!" Rameel says with moderate flourish as they make sure to keep close to Yomiel—their daemon currently not found anywhere near them as they make the announcement. Looks like they're without their black box of musical wonders this morning.

While the other two Watchers press close, Yomiel's daemon has wrapped itself around their neck like a polecat scarf. Warm. Arm cradled gently against their chest, they pause to glance at Satariel before greeting everyone. "Try to be careful. The ice can get slippery, especially when you're all looking like that and leaving a mess everywhere you go." Whatever that means.

Satariel seems a little more subdued than usual but offers everyone a smile, daemon bear-shaped against their back, large head peering around at everyone while they take in the travelers that come to join them here in the hotel lobby. Their cloak is completely closed around them - not even the front of their dress can be seen, and they're clearly holding it tightly shut. "Please be nice to the hotel staff - if I catch any of you being rude to them, I'll kick you clear across the tundra before sticking you in their outdoor 'jail' for timeout. We're guests, but they're working hard to accommodate us, alright?"


With the new week, travelers will find that they no longer the adorable animal features they did in Camebit, but something much less cute. Injuries from their pasts have come back to haunt them, major or minor, and they cannot be healed. The good thing is that they don't seem to hurt or really take a toll on the travelers at all - at least, not until they're touched, and then both you the other will feel the pain from the moment the wound was inflicted. This effect lasts all week.

[ This is. Not good. Jin is barreling through the snow at Joonghyuk and Niah both but slows down as she gets close enough. She will quickly brush against Joonghyuk's legs before sniffing at Niah eagerly. Hurt?? Okay? ]

[boy howdy, that sure helps with... everything, actually. though some of the bruising seems to linger, discoloring his pale skin.

Rowan's the first to stir, tail wagging fitfully while she whines and starts to lick at Allen's face which twists into a bit of a grimace--ugh, why is he getting licked--?]

[and then he's startling up, 0 to 100 sitting up wake and fumbling to get out of the truck, a bit dizzied. yep, definitely a good thing someone strapped him in, or else he'd have fallen on his face in the snow already.]

Rowan, however, bolts from the car and goes over to whoever's got Rika's body. she joins in with the mournful howling going on.]

[ Nice. Everyone and their mom can watch Joonghyuk sit down nearby to do first aid on himself and pull a bullet out of his left arm using a medical tong/tweezers because zetsu told me dokja also brought Joonghyuk’s medical supplies, I guess.

Niah seems fine though he does have Dust coming from similar spots: right shoulder, left front leg. ]

I’ll need help for my shoulder.

[ Looks around for a medic?? ]

[ Dokja of course follows after him, setting down both their bags because I indeed said to hei if yjh didn't bring it on trip, Kdj would from the room. ]

We'll get someone to heal you as well.

[ Don't be stubborn. Dokja is pretty exasperated and feels like hitting him but does not. He frowns more instead. Joonghyuk can notice Dokja's hands have fresh healing cuts from a sword fight though as he reaches out to help with bandaging. ]

You guys were late. The other group came back yesterday.. I was with them.

[ Jin will nuzzle into Niah, whining softly. ]

[ He noticed these injuries on Dokja that he does not recognize? Frowning, he’s thinking a bit… Niah allows, though he barks once. They are unhappy Dokja went a second time, but it’s fine.

He’s weary. ]

There’s a single bullet left, [ In his shoulder? ] then I only need to be bandaged. Objectively, I will be fine.

[ But like he won’t say no, really. Free heals are cool. ]

[ Bitch, YOU went on a second time. Joonghyuk isn't asking so Dokja will not say more of it.

But clearly Jin is expressing they aren't happy that Joonghyuk has gone as well. Jin headbutts both companion and daemon. Gently but also bitterly. Small fox can only reach leggies. ]

I doubt you'll trust me to remove it but I can until someone else comes around. [ Your choice. ]

Here is fine. [ Given Joonghyuk removed the other bullet in his body moments earlier in front of everyone's salad. So it Should be okay.

He'll take Rika's body once offered and will give her an incredibly sad look. He is soft for children and I blame cola and the mods for thrusting this upon us. ]

Yoo Joonghyuk's kit there has everything needed as well.
